Fall Fun!

This summer I had the good fortune of being contacted by the talented Suymey Benson of Blossom Portraiture Art asking if I would be interested in working with her... I loved her photographs and jumped at the chance to send her some of my designs...Eily wasn't too sure she liked someone else modeling gock's frocks but she has gotten over it!

I am thrilled with the photos I received from Suymey and promptly got all of the pieces listed in my etsy shop yesterday...

I am finally getting around to posting my photos from my trip to Jennifer Paganelli's house and her amazing Sis Boom Sale!

arriving at her front door....



On her front porch was the most amazing art from folk artist Barbara Strawser. I have always loved the folk art style but have been less than enthusiastic about the colors in the paintings until I saw Barbaras art....I would love to hang her art in every room of my house! Her colors are divine...images soft and beautiful...

it was such a treat to be able to see all of this creativity & loveliness in person! Jennifer made everyone feel welcome, I had the opportunity to meet some of her other creative friends...Nancy Geany of Dark Horse Farms Design and Danielle from The Vintage Dragonfly. I truly hope to get back there again soon!

Sis Boom..Rah Rah Rah!

no it's not a cheerleading cheer...it's a celebration of the gorgeous new fabrics from Jennifer Paganelli of Sis Boom fame!

Jennifer sent me a delicious package of fabrics to play with last week - with the promise of some samples for quilt market in May.



I snuck a little play time over the weekend and the result was this....



and a bit of this....






I love how her fabrics mix and match across collections - it was fun exploring my stash of older sis boom to see what works with the new.
